Have been here on several occasions and it never fails to disappoint. Food is always great and the menu changes regularly which helps to keep things interesting every time we come back. On one occasion, one of the staff was a little blunt with us that we arrived 10 minutes early for our meal. But aside from that it’s always been an enjoyable experience
I really enjoyed the meal. I had the baked hake with a cream prawn sauce. It was delicious. Service was great too. It’s a good size portion too
Had an enjoyable dinner here recently. Nice space with lovely staff. Food was served promptly and portions were generous.
Called in here after the whiskey tour next door and had a fantastic meal. The staff are very friendly. I would recommend it and also highly recommend the clonakilty whiskey tour.
First time in this restaurant. It is a lovely setting. The modern industrial interior contrasts with stunning chandeliers. There's outside seating as well and I spotted some cushions and throws for the comfort of more hardy customers!
Excellent service from start to finish. Very professional and pleasant but not the personal West Cork touch you get in some places.
They, very obligingly, made up our desserts to go as we had to leave precipitately, which was very kind of them.

Just finished a hearty meal at Kirby's. The food was the star of the show! Great staff too. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was not impressed with the greeting we got from the hostess. The first thing we were told was that we will be charged 10euro because there was only 5 of us now instead of 6.
I explained that I tried to edit the reservation online but the system did not allow it. I explained that I had called numerous times throughout the week (about 6 times) but there was no answer (and no voicemail either).
The hostesses response was “We always answer the phone. What number were you calling and when were you calling?”
I had to show her my call history to prove I had called the right number!
She waived the charge but nonetheless I was appalled by her attitude, especially because we ended up spending over 400 euro.
In my opinion, this 10euro charge should not be applied unless the entire reservation is cancelled.
The food and service were good but the attitude of the welcoming hostess was not nor is the policy on 10euro charge per person if they don’t show.
I wont be eating here again.
Amazing dinner with great quality food. The staff is welcoming and professional, with a relax atmosphere in the restaurant.
